PariMatch app prototype
APRIL 2021
Who is PariMatch?

Parimatch is an international sports betting company in Europe with headquarters in Limassol, Cyprus, founded in 1994 in Ukraine. The brand participates in the organization of e-sports tournaments and their broadcasts, supports players and streamers, which means more spectacular and exciting tournaments.

What was the task?
The prototype was created for the international PariMatch hackathon (2021) with different types of task. My team decided to go with onboarding so that inexperienced users could learn how to make their first bet right from the beginning.
Problem
  • Beginners give up betting after the first unsuccessful bet
  • Lack of a built-in guide in the application
  • Lack of informational checkpoints for each type of bet
  • Lack of available help from a professional/mentor
As a result:
  • Only old informed players circulate on the platform, they join the system only with the help of close friends of relatives from whom you can quickly get feedback
  • A huge market is created for the sale of sports predictions outside the PariMatch platform, which are not always valid and may turn out to be an ordinary scam (thrown money for the prediction - they took them and left), after which the validity of the entire betting market is lost
Solution
Onboarding "Quick start" - a person is taught to use the application's main functions with the help of quick tips.
First, an informative slide show is turned on, after which there is a quick start with a guide and filling in the player’s data - registering on the platform, sending documents, creating a deposit and other necessary things that are needed for your first bet.
Demo Video
Initially, the prototype was in Russian but I translated everything so that it is more clear and understandable for this portfolio. Unfortunately, the video couldn't be translated.

Prototype Development
  • The prototype for the website was created using Figma.
  • The colors were taken from the PariMatch brand colors because it was supposed to be integration to their main application.
  • Images and icons were taken from different Open source libraries and Google images.
  • Other visuals were created using Figma tools like Shapes, Pen and Text.
